Darkroom Collective

The ABC No Rio Photography Collective is an all-volunteer team of photographers who believe in providing open, accessible and affordable resources to other artists, regardless of experience. Visual Arts Collective

ABC No Rio was founded by visual artists committed to political and social engagement and we retain these values to the present. We are known internationally as a venue for oppositional culture.

ABC No Rio prioritizes collective efforts and group exhibitions based on theme, with an emphasis on strong social and political content. Our mission is to present an interesting, vital, and exciting forum for artists to show work in a spirit of mutual support and camaraderie.

Zine Library Collective

The ABC No Rio zine library is open to the public. Our collection includes independent, underground and alternative publications on subjects such as music, culture, activism, politics, personal experience, gender, health and self-education. We have a special interest in zines addressing neighborhood, political and social issues.
